Let's Git and TypeScript!

Are you interested in Git  and/or TypeScript?
Then you cannot miss this Pink Sunday's workshops!

With the objective to improve our collective understanding of popular programming topics, we will be hosting a unique two-workshop event! Join us for this Pink Sunday in which you can choose to participate in an interactive Q&A session on Git, or in an introductory workshop on TypeScript, a topic that will be hosted by Pink Programming Stockholm for the first time ever!

In short, this Pink Sunday you will:

    • Ask everything related to Git in an interactive session where you will get to experience the answers to your questions.
      OR
    • Learn what TypeScript is, when to use it, and go through a few code examples to run and build upon online.

Programming topics: Git/TypeScript

Workshop level: Everyone is welcome!

      Introduction to TypeScript

Workshop description: Popularly described as a “safety belt” to reduce annoying mistakes when coding JavaScript, TypeScript is not a language itself. What is it then? And when to use it? A crash course is not a possibility, but there will be a few code examples to run and build upon online. And perhaps more importantly, there will be time for questions and chatting in person with each other and mentors alike, seeking to improve our collective understanding of the topic!

      Programming topic: TypeScript

      Workshop level: Everyone is welcome!

      Preparations:
      - Get a GitHub account.
      - Join Pink Slack.
Note: Details for these two steps will be sent in a confirmation email.

      Workshop Holder

Rikku - a mid-level Web Developer,  joined Pink Programming in 2017 as a mentor/tutor/workshop-teacher. She joined before working as programmer, although she had a technical education. She has also been involved in Pink Programming's nomination committee and volunteer recruitment.
